Anyone for e-Learning?

The Library and Information Management Subject Group had a productive meeting in Lewes yesterday where 6 of us gathered to discuss our plans for incorporating e-Learning within some of our courses. We were joined by Stan Stanier, the University’s Learning Technology Manager, who explained how we might use the Blackboard and Community Web platforms to help remotely deliver courses to students. At the end of the day we all agreed that more work was needed over the coming year to test some of these technologies on modules we are currently delivering with a view to rolling them out next year.
