Special Collections at Sussex University
Published by Audrey Marshall | Filed under Innovation
I had a rare lunch-time treat today, when I hopped on the train for the 3 minute ride to Sussex University. They were celebrating the opening of the new Special Collections area of the Library with a celebratory glass of wine. The new area gives more study space and has allowed them to display a lot more of their precious collection. You can browse through some of the previously hidden gems e.g. from the Virginia Woolf collection and Mass Observation. It will make visiting the Special Collections area even more enjoyable in the future and a trip there, with a knowledgable talk from one of the librarians, is definitely on the cards for students on collection studies modules.
