This is the title of the Spring 2008 Day School being organised by CILIP in Sussex, which will investigate how to deliver the best service for all, whatever the sector. The venue is the Conference Centre in the University of Sussex’s lovely downland campus, and the date is Wednesday 23rd April 2008. Staff from the department are involved - Juliet Eve, for example, is running a workshop called ‘Research in your own organisation’ and other staff will be on hand during the day to contribute to the event. The keynote speakers are John Pateman, Head of Libraries, Learning and Inclusion for Linconshire and Biddie Fisher, Head of Information Services for Sheffield Hallam University. There’s an early bird booking discount for CILIP members if you register before 31st January, 2008 and a reduced student fee of £48.
