We offer 2 distinctive types of postgraduate library and information courses at the University of Brighton:

1. Our MA Information Studies is aimed at graduates wishing to start a career in the library and information world. For more information about the MA Information Studies contact the Course Leader, Nicola Smith: N.L.Smith@brighton.ac.uk

2. Our MSc Information Management and MSc Information Management (Health) awards are aimed at current information professionals wishing to extend and update their skills. We also offer the Information Management award as a Postgraduate Certificate (students are required to take 3 modules) and a Postgraduate Diploma (students are required to take 6 modules). These Information Management awards are offered in a semi-distance learning mode with students attending the University for short intensive blocks of 3 to 5 days. The course handbook for the Information Management awards can be downloaded HERE. For more information about the Information Management awards contact the Course Leader, Martin De Saulles: M.R.D.Saulles@brighton.ac.uk

All our courses are accredited by CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals).
