A new graduate programme has been launched by the Welsh Contact Centre Forum in collaboration with industry to help Welsh businesses recruit graduates for data-driven roles including AI.
With funding from the European Social Fund and input from industry, the 8 month programme will see 14 graduates from STEM disciplines deployed in businesses including Confused.com, Admiral and Vauxhall Finance. Alongside teaching from the University of South Wales, the programme will combine on-the-job experience with classes in AI, big data and robotics.

“The new Fast-Track Programme is designed to provide Welsh businesses with what is needed right now to address today’s recruitment and training challenges. Thanks to the support of the Welsh Government and the European Social Fund, we have been able to become agile in developing a solution allowing Welsh businesses of all sizes, to bolster their teams with highly-skilled graduates.”
