Healthcare analytics company PurpleLab has announced a series of strategic partnerships with Experian, DeepIntent, InsightsRx, and Comscore. These collaborations are part of a broader strategy to solidify the company’s position as a key data and analytics provider for the pharmaceutical marketing sector.
The move comes at a time when the digital advertising landscape is experiencing significant shifts. Pharmaceutical advertising expenditure continues to rise, with national TV spending in the US reaching nearly $3 billion in the first half of 2025, a 12% increase year-over-year. However, marketers in the sector face increasing challenges from evolving privacy regulations, signal loss, and platform restrictions, making access to reliable, compliant data more critical than ever.
In addition to the new partnerships, PurpleLab has recently taken other steps to bolster its credentials in privacy-conscious advertising. The company has joined the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), a self-regulatory organization focused on responsible data collection and use in digital advertising. To serve the needs of healthcare advertisers and digital media buyers, PurpleLab launched a new planning tool, Audience Builder, in September. The tool, which is part of its HealthNexus platform, allows users to create audiences of healthcare providers and consumers using claims data in a HIPAA-compliant manner, without requiring deep healthcare expertise. These initiatives underscore PurpleLab’s focus on providing privacy-safe data solutions for the growing healthcare advertising market.
