Terms of Sale for Research Reports

Last Updated: 12 February 2026

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of any published research reports, data sets, or analytical content (collectively, the “Research”) provided by Information Matters (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or downloading our Research, you (“the Purchaser”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. No Guarantee of Accuracy

All Research is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive to use reliable data sources and rigorous analytical methods, Information Matters makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of the information contained within the Research.

The Research reflects our judgment at the time of publication and is subject to change without notice. We are under no obligation to update or keep current the information contained in any report.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Research is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability.

  • Warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

  • Warranties that the Research will meet your specific requirements or lead to specific financial or business outcomes.

3. Limitation of Liability

Information Matters shall not be held responsible or liable for how the Purchaser or any third party uses the information provided in the Research.

In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages—including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption—arising out of the use of, or the inability to use, our Research, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. The use of our Research is strictly at the Purchaser’s own risk.

4. No Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products and the immediate delivery of information, all sales are final. To ensure our customers can make an informed decision prior to purchase, we provide a free “Preview” or “Redacted” version of our reports. This preview contains sufficient detail regarding the table of contents, methodology, and sample data to represent the quality and scope of the full report. By completing a purchase, the Purchaser acknowledges that they have reviewed the available samples and are satisfied with the product’s relevance to their needs.

5. Intellectual Property and Usage License

Upon purchase, Information Matters grants the Purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Research for internal business purposes only.

  • Prohibited Use: You may not redistribute, resell, sub-license, or publicly post the Research (in whole or in part) without express written permission from us.

  • Ownership: All intellectual property rights, titles, and interests in the Research remain the sole property of Information Matters.

6. Not Investment or Professional Advice

Our Research does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We are not acting as a fiduciary or an advisor. Purchasers should consult with appropriate professional advisors before making any business or investment decisions based on the content of our reports.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
