“Phound has announced an expansion of its communication platform, introducing a suite of new tools aimed at enhancing enterprise messaging, data synchronization, and meeting management.”
Phound has rolled out a significant update to its identity-first communication platform, introducing a range of new enterprise-focused features. The additions include a broadcast messaging service, enhanced customer relationship management (CRM) synchronisation, and more sophisticated meeting controls.
A key part of the update is ‘Phound Wave’, a tool for large-scale SMS campaigns that allows for personalisation through the use of custom data fields. This feature is integrated with the company’s existing Phound AI tools to help craft the messaging.
The platform now also supports vCon, a standard for conversation data, enabling real-time synchronisation with CRM systems such as CINC and Microsoft Dynamics. According to the company, this allows for the automatic logging of calls and messages, and the capture of data like call dispositions and notes. Eugene Tcipnjatov, Phound’s chief technology officer, stated that this helps to “keep a pulse on customer interactions” and “ensure that no opportunity is missed.”
The update also includes new meeting controls, giving hosts more options for managing guest access and security settings. The recording hub has been redesigned and renamed the ‘Magnum AI Recording Hub’, providing new tools for managing and branding recorded interactions.
Dave Erickson, chief executive of Phound, said the new features “are more than just tools; they are the building blocks of a new communication paradigm, one that is built on trust, privacy, and verified identity.”
